The Sprout 2.0 is CJ Nelson's updated, modern noserider, based on designs CJ has ridden throughout his career. It has more tail kick, a more pinched rail to connect to the wave face, an edge in the tail for control and a beveled Nuuhiwa-style concave for time on the nose.

This 9'6" is built in Thunderbolt Silver, the most traditional-feeling Thunderbolt construction. The extra length and volume make it a glider for the mellow, clean days we get at Folly and Sullivan's Island.

Q: What fin should I use?
A: For the 9'6", CJ recommends a 10.5" to 11" fin for more hold. A 10" fin is a solid choice for any size. Try CJ's Noserider, Cali Pivot or Classic Pivot.

A: Small to medium, clean surf. It's built for trim, smooth turns and noseriding.
