Polar Nick Boserio Silver Devil 8.5 Short Skateboard Deck

Product Description

Nick Boserio's Silver Devil pro model features artwork by Sirus F Gahan, the artist behind many of Polar Skate Co.'s best-known graphics.

This is the 8.5" Short shape: 31.9" long with a 14.125" wheelbase. That gives you a wide platform with a slightly shorter, nimbler wheelbase, a nice mix for park and street.

FAQs

Q: What does 'Short' mean on a Polar deck?
A: Polar's Short shapes have a shorter length and wheelbase than its standard shape at the same width, so the board turns and spins a little quicker.

Q: What size trucks should I run on this deck?
A: For an 8.5" deck, a 149mm truck (Independent 149 or similar) is a good starting point, so the axle lines up close to the edge of the board. Stop by and we'll help you match trucks in person.

Q: Does this deck come with grip tape?
A: No. This listing is for the deck only. Grip tape, trucks, wheels, bearings and hardware are sold separately, and we carry all of them in the shop.

Q: Can I pick this up locally?
A: Yes. Stop by Parrot Surf & Skate in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and we can help you set up your board.
