The Parallax Plus is CJ Nelson's take on the classic long hull, first made famous at Malibu in the summer of '68. CJ and Ryan Engle added more rocker, less roll and a performance rail, then widened the tail and tamed the hull just a touch. With side bites in a 2+1 setup, it's the smoothest, most maneuverable longboard in the CJ Nelson line.

This 8'3" is built in Thunderbolt Black, their lightest and highest performance construction. Hand laminated carbon adds snap and durability without extra weight. At 8'3" it's a great pick for Lowcountry surfers who want a log that turns, from small days at Folly to the better swells at Sullivan's Island.

A: For the 2+1 setup, CJ recommends a 7.5" to 8" center fin with side bites on the 8'3". You can also ride it as a single fin with a 9.5" fin.
