Phil's Thoughts: All new for 18/19 - the FlashBomb 4/3 Zip Free is going to be a game changer for those who like chest entry wetsuits. Because it is zipperless, it's insanely light weight for a FlashBomb. The same size 4/3 FlashBomb chest zip weighs 3/4lb more than the zipperless - wow. Yes, I actually put them on the scale.

The outside seams do not have the sealed seams like the other FlashBombs, but the seams are GBS and have the E5 tape on the inside of the suit. And of course there's the Flash lining on the inside all through the legs and most of the torso. No lining in the arms makes for much easier paddling. I think this is going to be one of the suits that Rip Curl makes a big hit in the market. Ziperless, but warmer, and warmer for longer than a lot of other zipperless wetsuits. This could be a game changer.

The Flash Bomb 4/3 zip free is a high performance wetsuit with a multitude of coldwater features. This season we updated the pattern with a larger opening to allow for easier entry and exit. We also added E5 neoprene in the arms. The torso and legs are E5 flash lined with 3/4 internal E5 tape. This suit is very lightweight and has a minimalistic look and feel.
